Neighborhood Summit

The Broadway Slavic Village Neighborhood Summit is an annual event that brings dedicated community stakeholders together to celebrate the accomplishments and hard work of residents and organizations of the Broadway Slavic Village neighborhood.

The 15th Annual Neighborhood Summit will be held on Saturday, April 28th, 2012 from 11am-2pm at the brand new state-of-the-art, LEED certified Mound School (5935 Ackley Ave.). The theme of this year’s summit is Education with the tag line “Slavic Village: Growing Great Minds”. The program will highlight schools and educational opportunities that are available in the community, as well as acknowledging youth, teachers, mentors, and parents that go above and beyond on a daily basis to ensure our youth are learning to their maximum potential.  In addition to highlighting the locals schools and a free lunch, we are proud to announce that Mr. Eric Gordon, CEO of Cleveland Metropolitan Schools, will be our keynote speaker for this year’s summit.
