Ohio Canal Corridor celebrates 24 years of Ohio’s largest done-in-a-day cleanup effort. In this time we have recruited local businesses, corporations, schools and individuals for contributions and volunteer teams to support this cause. This year the event will be held on Saturday, May 11th from 9 am until noon- volunteers receive gloves and bags. First 1,000 volunteers to sign up will receive a commemorative Riversweep t-shirt designed by George Cogill.

Join us for the Slavic Village Pierogi Dash 5K Run and Fun Walk on Sunday, June 9th at 9 am. It’s sponsored by Slavic Village Development, Third Federal Savings, Air Products and Dick’s Sporting Goods. Our 7th Annual Run on the Morgana Run Trail, starts at Aetna Road and E.75th Street and winds through historic Slavic Village.   Lively polkas kick off the race and runners are rewarded at the finish line with pierogies and smokies.
